Pre-Nursing
Culminating in the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentialing exam, students build a rigorous academic foundation that prepares them for a critical role in patient care. Students interested in continuing their nursing education beyond high school will be well-prepared to pursue careers as Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
Medical Assisting
A springboard to any clinical healthcare career, Medical Assisting provides students with a solid foundation in medical terminology, phlebotomy, and clinical procedures. Upon completion of the program and successfully passing the technical assessment, students will obtain their Certified Clinical Medical Assistant credential and be well-positioned for roles within Diagnostic Medicine and other high growth clinical fields.
Behavioral and Mental Health
Including subject areas in care coordination, mental health, and community and population health, students are prepared for clinical and non-clinical roles within the Behavioral Health field. As the demand for mental health professionals grows, this pathway offers a vital opportunity for students to make a meaningful impact in a high-need area prioritized at New York City and State levels.
Healthcare Management
For students interested in the administrative and operational side of healthcare, Healthcare Management equips students with the skills necessary for roles in medical administration, billing, coding, and healthcare operations. The final technical assessment of Certified Medical Administrative Assistant ensures students are prepared with a thorough understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation, and graduates students with transferrable office skills for any industry.
