A Memorable Evening at Northwell School of Health Sciences!

The Northwell School of Health Sciences recently celebrated a significant milestone in its development. On Tuesday, December 3rd, over 850 prospective students and families were welcomed to the iconic New York Hall of Science in Queens. This event served as a fantastic opportunity for attendees to become familiar with the new school and the exciting possibilities it offers.
Families engaged in meaningful conversations about the unique opportunities available at Northwell School of Health Sciences, learning about the four career pathways: Behavioral and Mental Health, Healthcare Management, Pre-Nursing, and Medical Assisting.

The partnership between NYC Public Schools and Northwell Health was prominently showcased during the evening. It was particularly heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and dedication of Northwell Health team members from across the health system. Their commitment to community, education, and enhancing health was clearly evident, as nearly 50 Northwell team members volunteered their time after a full day of work. Additionally, NYCPS staff from across the city signed up to work at this event. We would like to thank our CSA and UFT family for having such a strong presence at our event, welcoming our families while celebrating NSHS's official first open house.
Northwell staff collaborated to ensure the event's success, planning engaging activities at each pathway station, including hands-on stations on how to save a life and interactive demonstrations with mannequins.
